Alarm monitoring

hours a day 365 days a year we are ready and waiting to respond to any alarm activations.
Our Alarm Response Unit will attend your premises faster than the emergency services,
because your call is the number one priority to us.
Business watch
We can provide uniformed or plain clothed security officers to your premises; this could be mobile or full 24-hour cover, on-site guards when your property is unattended. We also have key holding and mobile patrol services to offer total peace of mind, calling out police, glaziers and plumbers if and when required.
House watch
Coverguard offer the complete service for our residential clients, providing panic button assistance and when you are not at home, 24-hour cover or random visits ensuring a much safer home environment.
Manned guarding
This
is the visible face of security and is our main service. All our Officers are
SIA trained, licensed and are fully vetted and Checked in accordance with the
current UK requirements. Our Staff have a wide range of expertise and are immaculate
in appearance, they have good communication skills and are ready to adapt to changes
in the work place. We pride ourselves on the ability to ensure the total safety
of your premises and our service is fully supported by a 24hour Control room and
Mobile Supervisor and Dog units.
Counter surveillance
Coverguard are privileged to have a highly trained surveillance team, who are also trained in use and counter use of electronic listening devices; loss of classified information can cause the downfall of any company in the competitive world we live in. Our Operatives are also trained to search for explosive devices together with the assistance of the Dog unit. This service is no longer provided by the Police force.
Loss prevention officers
We have extended our dedicated guarding team to cover the retail industry and offer a competitive loss prevention service; our operatives that are highly trained and well versed in civil law. Coverguard also support court proceedings when offenders are to be prosecuted and assist where we can in cases being brought to court.
Close protection
Coverguard provide the full range of Close Protection Services. Our Close Protection operatives are all Ex-forces, Special Forces or have been trained by one of the leading close protection training companies, e.g. Phoenix or Task. The reason for this is that we take no risks when it comes to protecting an individual from possible attack or harassment. This services is always carried out with maximum protection whilst keeping the client's freedom and preferences in mind.
Mobile patrols
Our
mobile patrols are available as support to any of our security teams or we can
offer them as a security solution on their own. Coverguard use a system called
Dyster, this allows us to fix clock in points around your premises. The positions
of these will be determined after a site evaluation. The mobile units will patrol
your grounds periodically throughout the night or over the space of a week depending
on the amount of cover you require. The patrolling Officer uses the Dyster baton
pressing it against the clock in point, this uploads the relevant information
to allow it to be downloaded to computers in our control centre this ensures that
the patrols have been on time and all areas have been covered. All of this information
will be available to you on request or we can send monthly reports - the choice
is yours.
Company ID passes and access control
We
have the resources to supply security passes and / or access control for all of
your staff, this will allow you to keep track of any unauthorised persons gaining
access to your place of work.
Key holding
Key
holding is probably the minimum amount of security that is offered by security
companies. Coverguard provide a service to private and business clients. Should
the unexpected happen i.e. Burglary, flood, or any other form of incident, we
will attend the premise and deal with the incident. In most cases there will be
no need for you to be called out in the middle of the night or be disturbed when
away on holiday. This service will give you total peace of mind.
Free site security evaluation
Whether you currently have security or are thinking of using security services for the first time we can come to your home or place of business to advise on methods of making your property more secure. This can be done in two main ways - covertly or overtly. In a covert manner we would come to your business and observe your security in operation highlighting any problem areas. Overtly, this is where your security personnel would be notified that there will be a site evaluation and they could be questioned on their standard operational procedures and counter measures. All of this would be explained to you in great detail before commencement.
